Notification in S.R.O No.592/2019 dtd. 31.08.2019 in G.O(RT) No.2086/2019/Home dtd. 06.08.2019) -empowers all Chief Judicial Magistrates, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrates and Judicial magistrates of the First Class in the State as “Magistrates” in their respective Jurisdiction, to perform the functions of the Magistrate under the Mental Health Care Act 2017.
